This is Croxteth Country Park. A stately home and estate located about 4 miles from the city centre, this is a haven of tranquility.
The home itself dates back to the Victorian times, when the Lord of the Manor was the most important person in town. Wandering around the estate, you can see and marvel the nature on display.
Croxteth Country Park is home to highland cattle, basically, cute fluffy cows! On a good day, you can see them up close. They’re curious characters and will quite often be seen by the fences.
And once you’ve finished in the park, head over to West Derby village for some food. It’s a taste of the countryside just a stones throw from the city centre.
