Simply take the Northeast Line or Downtown Line on the MRT and alight at Little India Station. It's like stepping through a gateway to another world, instantly starting your magical journey. When I visited last time, I was immediately captivated by the bustling scenes and the intense aroma of spices as soon as I exited the station. 🕙 To experience the lively atmosphere, I recommend visiting during weekends or major festivals like Deepavali. A friend of mine went last year during Deepavali and said the streets were adorned with vibrant decorations and glittering lights everywhere. Hindu devotees dressed in beautiful traditional attire, singing and dancing. The parades, floats, and performances were absolutely mesmerizing, creating an unforgettable festive vibe! If you prefer a quieter experience, weekday mornings are great for a leisurely stroll. 🌟 Don't miss the Tekka Centre, a paradise for food lovers. The first floor houses a wet market with fresh produce and heaps of spices. I bought some unique spices there and made authentic curry at home—it was amazing! The second floor is a food court where you can savor South Asian delights like roti prata and curry puffs, each bite bursting with authentic flavors. Little India is truly a charming destination.
