I've been to Wangmangling Scenic Area three times, and finally figured out how to explore it.

Here's a suggested itinerary for Wangmangling Scenic Area: Tour Routes • One-Day Tour: Take the scenic area shuttle bus to the parking lot at the mountain top. Visit Guituo Peak, Shiku Tianshu, Sanxing Peak, Fuyun Cliff, Liuxiu Jump, Fangzhi Cliff, Sunrise Viewing Platform, Xiao Taihang, Qintai, Lema Cliff, and Lingzhi Stone. Afterward, take the shuttle bus through the Xiyagou Hanging Road back to the Wolong parking lot. • Two-Day Tour: On the first day, enter through the main gate and take the sightseeing bus to the core scenic area. Enjoy the scenery at the Sunrise Viewing Platform and the scenic walkway. After lunch, continue exploring the valleys and forests. On the second day, head to the Hanging Road, either on foot or by vehicle. Afterward, visit Xiyagou Village to experience the simple village life. Special Experiences • Sunrise and Sea of Clouds: Purchase sunrise viewing tickets in advance at the ticket center. Stay near the scenic area and take the scenic area's night shuttle to the Jiding Sunrise Viewing Platform in the early morning to enjoy the sunrise and the spectacular sea of clouds. • Walking the Hanging Road: Take the scenic area's daytime shuttle bus down the mountain and pass through the Xiyagou Hanging Road, or share a car from the ticket center to the Kunshan Hanging Road. Activities • Hiking: Start from the summit and follow the Qintai-Shuangru Peak-Wangmangling route. The entire journey is about 5 km and takes approximately 2–3 hours. • Driving: The Kunshan Hanging Road attracts driving enthusiasts from all over the country. Driving on it offers a unique experience of its steepness, narrowness, length, lowness, and danger.
