The stone paths sparkling in the sunlight, the sound of the valley, the overwhelming feeling of snow-capped mountains, and even the old city at night with lights on. It was like a painting as I walked, and it was a travel destination that made me want to stay for a long time when I stopped. ⸻ Day 1 – Walking around the ancient city and falling in love with the night view 🏨 Recommended accommodation inside the Lijiang Ancient City (丽江古城) → Many guesthouses with stone steps, small flower paths, and wooden windows → Accommodations inside quiet alleys are peaceful even at night 🏘️ Morning – Walking around the ancient city & exploring alleys → Hundreds of years old stone paths, bamboo signs, traditional houses → Fewer people during the day and good for photos → Many local craft shops, tea houses, and accessory shops are fun to look around ☕ Afternoon – Spend some time at a tea house → Many tea houses specializing in jasmine tea, white tea, and local Lijiang tea → Recommended outdoor terrace! Even if you just sit there blankly, the atmosphere is good 🌃 Evening – Lijiang Ancient Town night view walk → Small bridges with lights on, the sound of flowing water, traditional lanterns → Just walking along the alley under the lights is the best atmosphere → It’s a night that’s more beautiful when you see it with your own eyes than in a photo ⸻ Day 2 – The overwhelming feeling of snowy mountains and highlands ⛰ Morning~Afternoon – Yulong Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山) day tour → A magnificent snowy mountain over 4500m above sea level → Cable car + highland flat observation deck + white snow + blue sky → Be sure to prepare altitude sickness medicine in advance!
