Lijiang Summer Retreat, Snow Mountain Ancient Village

Lijiang summer retreat, Lijiang is located on the plateau, where the climate is cool in summer, featuring ancient villages, snow mountains, Lijiang Dajinta, and Fuguo Temple. Dajinta Temple is located on Snake Mountain in the Lijiang city area, facing Yulong Snow Mountain from afar, a particularly niche attraction. Built during the Tang Dynasty, it has a history of over a thousand years. Admission is free. Transportation guide: Take bus 15 directly to Dayan Ancient Town. Walk to visit Dajinta. Attraction guide: Dajin Maitreya Buddha statue, Guanyin Hall, Ashoka Pillar, Thousand Buddha and Ten Thousand Lamp Hall, God of Wealth Hall, Golden Buddha Pagoda. Surrounding are 108 white pagodas, which are typical Tibetan Buddhist architecture. Fuguo Temple is the first Tibetan temple in Lijiang and also the largest Kagyu monastery in Yunnan. Located within Zhishan behind Baisha Village in Lijiang. Transportation guide: Take the Baisha Ancient Town tourist line to Baisha Ancient Town, then take a taxi. Walking takes about an hour. Baisha Ancient Town A well-preserved Naxi ancient village located at the foot of the snow mountain. Attraction guide: Fuguo Temple was founded during the Ming Dynasty, and figures such as Gama Ba have presided over grand dharma assemblies here. The Fuguo Temple has a cross-shaped layout, three bays wide, and its main building is the Wufeng Tower, facing Yulong Snow Mountain. Vegetarian meals are available at noon. Wenhai Village is located in Baisha Township, Yulong County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, opposite Baisha Ancient Town across the mountain, in a low-lying valley with blue waters and lush grass. Accommodation: Recommended within Dayan Ancient Town for convenience in visiting scenic areas, with prices starting from 60 yuan for a standard room. Dining: Recommended Zhongyi Market, frequented by locals, with recommended dishes such as smoked pork rib hotpot, fried sauce rice noodles, etc.
