The moment I stepped onto the viewing platform, I saw the continuous stilted buildings stacked upon each other, spreading out across the mountains. The Baishui River meandered through it, like a silver ribbon tied to the Miao village. During the day, the Miao village is shrouded in sunlight, with wisps of smoke rising from the chimneys, full of life. As night falls, thousands of lights light up, and the Miao village instantly turns into a dreamlike world. This scene is so beautiful that it touched my heart! Without further ado, here's the guide 👇 📍 Detailed address: Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village Scenic Area, Nangui Village, Xijiang Town, Leishan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture 🕙 Opening hours: 07:30–00:00 the next day. You can enjoy stunning scenery no matter when you go~ 🎫 Ticket information: Included in the scenic area ticket (ticket price is CNY 110/person, including sightseeing bus ticket CNY 20/person. The sightseeing bus can be taken 4 times, and an additional CNY 5/person is required for each additional ride). No additional ticket purchase is required. 🚗 Transportation guide: • High-speed train: First, go to Kaili South Station. After exiting the station, you can take the scenic area direct bus (approx. CNY 35), which will take you directly to the Miao village in about 1 hour. You can also take bus No. 21 to Kaiyunsi Bus Station and transfer to a bus to Xijiang (approx. CNY 25). • Self-driving: Directly navigate to "Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village". The scenic area has a parking lot, and the parking fee is approx. CNY 40. 🗺 Itinerary: • Morning: After arriving at the Miao village, take the sightseeing bus from Wind and Rain Bridge No. 1 to the viewing platform. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Miao village during the day. The terraces, stilted buildings, green mountains, and clear waters complement each other, making it perfect for taking photos and checking in. • Afternoon: After descending from the viewing platform, stroll along the mountain path, passing by Wind and Rain Bridge No. 4 to experience the slow pace of life in the Miao village. You can also check in at some niche photo spots. Then, go to Wind and Rain Bridges No. 5 and No. 6, where the water vapor is misty, creating a great atmosphere for taking photos. • Evening: Return to the viewing platform again to see the night view. When the lights are on, the Miao village is like a fairy tale world, making it perfect for taking photos. After watching the night view, take a stroll in the Miao village to experience the lively nightlife. 📸 Photo tips: • Daytime: Wear light-colored clothes for better photos. Use the oblique light in the morning or afternoon to create amazing light and shadow effects. It is recommended to take large-scale photos at the edge of the viewing platform with the panoramic view of the Miao village as the background. • Evening: Bring a tripod to take long-exposure night scene photos. The brightly lit Miao village is very stunning. For portrait photos, you can turn on the flash and stand by the railing of the viewing platform with the dazzling lights as the background to create a full atmosphere. ❗ Helpful tips: • The viewing platform is crowded, especially during holidays. If you want to occupy a good spot for taking photos, remember to go early. • Pay attention to the operating hours of the sightseeing bus when taking it (Wind and Rain Bridge No. 1 - Viewing Platform: 08:00–23:00). Don't miss the last bus. • There are many shops near the viewing platform that rent Miao costumes, ranging from CNY 50–200. Rent a set to wear for photos, which is very suitable for the occasion. • There are many mosquitoes in the Miao village, so bring mosquito repellent spray to avoid being bitten.
