Travel to Northern Laos | Vientiane - Vang Vieng (4 days 3 nights)

Everyone... We're going to share our first trip to Northern Laos, our own plan and booking of everything. In case anyone is interested and wants to try going, let me tell you, it's not difficult to travel. 🤗🫶🏻We went for 4 days and 3 nights. It seems like a long time, right? That's because we chose to travel by train both Bangkok-Laos and Vientiane (Khamsavad). During the period we went, the price of plane tickets was a bit expensive, so we didn't fight it. 😅**Travel** 🚂🫧✿ Train tickets from Krungthep Aphiwat Station to Vientiane (Khamsavad): You can book via the State Railway of Thailand website, but you must register to log in first. If you have already booked a trip in Thailand, you can book the same. But the sleeper tickets are quite sold out, so you need to book in advance. ✿ Laos-China train tickets: You can book yourself via the LCR Ticket application. The system will open for booking 3 days in advance of the trip. If you're only going to Vang Vieng like us, we recommend booking 2nd class tickets. It's the cheapest, but I guarantee that it's just as comfortable. ✿ Vehicle used for travel in Vientiane: We called a car through the Kokkok Move application. They have many types of vehicles to choose from. The price is not expensive at all. It's even cheaper if you split the cost with a friend. Very convenient, good, recommended. ✿ Vehicle used for travel in Vang Vieng: It's a vehicle similar to a local songthaew. We don't know what it's called (there's a picture in the post). We booked a 1.5-day contract with them to pick us up at the Vang Vieng train station and take us to various places in Vang Vieng. The next day, they dropped us off at the Vang Vieng train station as usual. I have to say that they are very kind, very patient, and speak politely. The other 2 nights were spent sleeping on the train both ways. **Expenses** 💸The total cost was around 5,000 Thai baht per person. ❤️❤️ I think Vientiane-Vang Vieng is very good. Beautiful nature, beautiful views, inexpensive food and accommodation, kind people, polite speech. But there is only one bad thing, a lot of dust, really a lot of dust.
