Italy: Day trip to Lake Como

I went to Lake Como on a day trip from Milan, Italy. Lake Como is a popular resort that can be easily reached from Milan as a day trip. The best season is summer, but I went at the end of autumn during the off-season, so it felt a little lonely, but it is a recommended spot to enjoy nature near Milan. I stayed at a hotel at Milano Central Station, so it was about an hour by train from Milano Central Station. Unfortunately, it was a strike day, so the train I had planned to take wasn't running, and I arrived after noon, but that's a common occurrence when traveling abroad. I bought the train ticket at the counter on the day, but there was a line. You can buy it in advance online, or from a ticket machine.
