It is located in Laishui County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, at the intersection of the Taihang Mountains and the Yanshan Mountains, 100 kilometers away from the Chinese capital Beijing, with a total area of ​​498.5 square kilometers. The main scenic spots in Yesanpo Scenic Area include: Bailixia Natural Scenic Area, Yesanpo Qingquan Mountain Scenic Area, Juma River Scenic Area, Baicaopan Scenic Area, Yugudong Scenic Area, Longmen Tianguan Scenic Area, Jinhua Mountain Scenic Area, Lost Paradise Lavender Scenic Area, and National Park. Yesanpo was built in 1991. It is the earliest built, largest, most well-equipped and most fully-functional leisure sightseeing and tourist resort in the entire scenic area. The Ethnic Park covers an area of ​​0.1 square kilometers and has a construction area of ​​more than 0.024 square kilometers. The Ethnic Park is surrounded by mountains on four sides and water on three sides, with beautiful scenery. In the park, there are wooden houses inhabited by ethnic minorities such as the Miao, Dong, Mosuo, Lisu, and Dulong, as well as costumes, photos of major festivals and celebrations, etc. In the mid-1980s, Yesanpo was still a poor and isolated town deep in the mountains. Since its development in 1984, the Bailixia Scenic Area, the Longmen Tianguan Scenic Area with ancient military culture themes, the Baicaopan National Forest Park, and the Yugudongquan Scenic Area with karst caves and strange springs have been built. At the end of 2000, the Laishui County Party Committee and the County Government made the decision to "restart Yesanpo's business". In 2012, floods ravaged the homes of Yesanpo, leaving the area devastated and 80% of the infrastructure of the scenic area destroyed.
