Ninenzaka Sannenzaka Alley, a must-visit when traveling to Kyoto, Japan! This is the route from Kiyomizu-dera to Kodaiji and Gion. It is a place where you can feel the old Japanese atmosphere. Even though I traveled in January, Japan was so warm that I could wear a kimono. The kimono itself is thick, so you can wear it even in winter! There are many places where you can rent a kimono. There are so many places where you can rent one right away without making a reservation. And on the way down from Kiyomizu-dera, at sunset, Kyoto seen from the alley was so beautiful. When you go to Kiyomizu-dera and go back, don't just go down, but go and explore the alleys. There are many hidden places and great places to take pictures.
