Gion Tokuya: Exquisite, stretchy and melty warabimochi

Gion Tokuya is a famous shop located right on Hanamikoji Street. It's a shop that stands out with a line along the gorgeous street where maiko walk. I tried the real warabi mochi that stretches and melts in your mouth, and the mochi-yaki zenzai that you can grill yourself. The warabi mochi is really soft and smooth, and the ice in the middle keeps it cold even after a while. The texture that can only be found in real warabi mochi makes you want to eat it no matter how many times you line up. #KyotoTrip
