Jodo Shinshu Honganji School registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site

It is registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site, and in the vast precincts of about 30,000 tsubo, there are numerous national treasures and important documents, such as Hiunkaku (not open to the public), which is counted as one of the "three famous pavilions of Kyoto" along with Goei-do, Amida-do Hall, Kinkaku and Ginkaku, and the Kita Noh Stage (closed), the oldest existing Noh stage.
