✨ Kimono Forest 👘 キモノフォレスト 📍20-2 Sagatenryuji Tsukurimichicho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-8384 Japan I originally wanted to visit in the evening because they said the evening was beautiful, but I was tired by 6~7pm and really wanted to go to the hot springs. I took a taxi to the Arashiyama area and found Kimono Forest while passing by. When I went there, it was really small right in front of the station. You can see everything in about 5 minutes. But surprisingly, there were no people. So it was easy and nice to take pictures📸. The Randen train and cherry blossoms are as pretty as you can see in the pictures. For those who are going to see the train station in the evening, I recommend stopping by when you go back into the city (in the evening)~ If you are going to take pictures of people, I think the morning is better. In the morning, you can take pictures with cherry blossoms🌸 and the Randen train🚊, so the pictures are pretty. Arashiyama is surprisingly small, and you can walk all the courses, so there's no reason not to go here. If you're planning a course, the best would be Randen train > Kimono forest > Chikurin > Tenryuji > Togetsukyo > Arashiyama Park. ☝️ 3 TIPs There's a kimono shop in front of Kimono Forest, so if you rent a kimono and take pictures there, it'll come out really pretty. Usually, everyone wears it in the Gion area..! I think taking pictures in Kimono Forest gives a very different feeling with the train in the background. The purple Randen train is so pretty. And it's a really pretty photo spot 📸 because it departs very slowly and comes often. Right next to Kimono Forest, there's a fashion shop with a design made of a door that goes into a kimono! I couldn't buy it because it was too expensive for my standards, but one knit costs about 20,000 yen, but if you want to give a really luxurious gift, buy it here. The quality is so good and it's pretty. I wanted to buy a shirt as a gift for my husband..! It's a design you can't see anywhere else. There were various products such as men's shirts, women's turtlenecks, scarves, and bags. You can rent a wheelchair at the information center inside the train station. I rented a lot of wheelchairs during this trip, but I think Arashiyama is the most comfortable neighborhood in Kyoto where you can move around with a wheelchair.
