Cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn

📍Daigoji Temple Daigoji Temple, located at the foot of Mt. Nakatsumine, one of the 100 famous mountains in Shikoku, is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect. The Katsuura River, which flows into the Kii Channel, flows nearby. The temple grounds include the main hall and a guardian shrine, and several Jizo statues. The principal image is the Yakushi Nyorai statue. Yakushi Nyorai, who cures illnesses, removes mental pain, and gives peace of mind, is said to be a skilled doctor in the Buddhist world, and the medicine jar he holds in his hand is a highlight. Daigoji Temple generally has a quiet atmosphere, but the atmosphere changes a little in early spring. During cherry blossom season, the Somei Yoshino cherry trees form a tunnel, and you can enjoy the illuminated cherry blossoms not only during the day but also at night. My personal recommendation is autumn, although spring is also good.
