[Summer Purification Ceremony] Kyoto I've always wanted to go to the Summer Purification Ceremony at Kamigamo Shrine, and this year I was able to go 🔥 It was truly an impressive ceremony. As well as the burning flames, it was a time when I felt Japanese culture and power from somewhere! ! ! ! I would love to visit every year and get some power. The doll floating ceremony I was looking forward to was scheduled to start at 8pm, so I arrived around 6pm in the evening and spent some time relaxing in the shrine grounds while finding a place. They also served summer tofu, so I ate some.
