Early summer in Kyoto, the joy of new greenery at Kifune Shrine

When it comes to traveling to Japan, most people like to choose the cherry blossoms, red leaves or falling snow season, but in fact, the joy of fresh greenery in early summer in Kyoto is actually the next level. For this trip to Kyoto, I chose Kifune Shrine in the north, successfully avoiding the crowds of popular attractions in Kyoto and instead enjoying the fun of Kawadoko cuisine. Kawadoko cuisine is a popular way for Japanese people to enjoy the fresh greenery in early summer. The restaurant we chose not only has Kawadoko, but also has the unique flowing water surface in this area. Although I feel sleepy after eating a lot of carbohydrates, it is really fun.
