[Hotelepo!] The Royal Park Canvas Kyoto Nijo

My first impression was that the hotel had a bit of a retro feel. The guest room floors were carpeted in a light brown. There was an unusual alarm clock by the bed. The design was inspired by old records. The guest room lights were so cute that I took loads of photos lol. The bedside lights also had a retro feel. In a world where there are so many modern and stylish hotels, this slightly retro design was refreshing. I also liked that the bathroom wasn't a unit bath. I don't really like unit baths because they're almost the same. They don't have much of a feel to them. The amenities are in the lobby, and you can take as many as you need. The only things provided are toothbrushes, hairdryers, towels, and pajamas. There is a large public bath on the first floor, which is open until 2am. You can check the occupancy level on the TV in your room, so it's best to go when it's not crowded! I went at 1am. I thought it would be exclusively booked, but there were surprisingly many customers there lol. They were probably thinking the same thing. Breakfast was buffet style. There was a big bacon cone, croissants, curry, and many other varieties! I love buffets! Finally, it's no exaggeration to say that it's the symbol of this hotel. The design of the lounge. A two-tone design of wood and black. It expresses the "contrast" design concept of this hotel. It's a very interesting design. I didn't take any photos this time. When I looked up this hotel, all I could see were photos of the lobby, but the rooms were lovely too! It's not super stylish! But it's a relaxing space. That's the kind of hotel it is.
