[A stylish retro building] Suirokaku

Suirokaku is an aqueduct bridge for the Lake Biwa Canal located in the grounds of Nanzenji Temple. It was built to transport water from Lake Biwa when Kyoto was short of water. It is now registered as a Kyoto City designated historic site. It has become a popular Instagram spot, and it was crowded with many people taking photos under the arched bridge.
