[Kyoto] Good value for money! A stylish and tasteful Japanese modern hotel perfect for solo travelers

That's right! Let's go to Kyoto to Zen! So I suddenly went there by myself and stayed here for three days✨ A four-star hotel that opened on April 20, 2021, within walking distance of Kyoto Station. It has a restaurant, a bar, and a large public bath. I actually stayed there for three days but didn't know about the large public bath💦 I should have gone🤣 The concept is the character "oku" (depth), and it allows you to experience the depth of Kyoto. When you have a purpose to wander around from morning to night, you don't have time to relax in the hotel, and you're just going to sleep, so anywhere is fine! I think that, but this time I didn't have any purpose other than Zen lol I didn't know what to expect, so I chose a stylish hotel with good cost performance✨ The artwork in the entrance lobby was done by Hatano Wataru, a washi paper craftsman from Ayabe, Kyoto, and the disk-shaped table is finished by scraping the surface of multiple layers of washi paper. The second photo shows the approach in a different space (lol). I thought it would look like this because it's a photo, but it was actually like this. It's really good❤️ It feels like a different dimension when you pass by here. It's minimalist and the room I stayed in is just right for one person☺️ 10-minute walk from the station, right in front of the bus stop. It's not impossible to walk 10 minutes if you don't have much luggage, but it's a bit tiring when you have a lot of luggage💦 It's located along Nishinotoin-dori, between Nishi Honganji, a World Heritage Site, and Higashi Honganji, an Important Cultural Property. This 121-room hotel is based on the concept of "oku". You can experience the depth of tradition and culture that has been built up over the ages in Kyoto, and enjoy the concept of "oku" created by the overlapping of creators. I just found out that SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE supervised the design! No wonder it's so stylish. The stone was also cool ❤️ I stayed in a 17 square meter double. It was just the right size for me since I was alone. It was about 7,500 yen per night. Good value for money and stylish.
