🌸Located in the center of Kiyomizu-zaka in the Higashiyama Kiyomizu Temple scenic area, it is operated by the Prince Hotel Group and was converted from the old Kiyomizu Elementary School. Many elements of old primary schools are retained, and while enjoying the new equipment, there is also the familiar feeling of returning to school for a reunion. The hotel integrates the surrounding ancient houses and temples, and the carefully crafted gardens, with beautiful scenery everywhere. The service, equipment, food and environment are all excellent. 🌸The room has a large floor-to-ceiling window, and you can see the five-story pagoda of (Hokan-ji Temple). When I wake up in the morning and open my eyes, I see it. It feels like living in an ancient city. 🌸Free local beer and Japanese sake in the refrigerator. 🌸The only drawback is the traffic problem caused by the excellent location. The narrow one-way Shimizuzaka is jammed with traffic almost all the time during the day.
