[Kyoto] Morning at Inoda Coffee Main Branch

Address: 140 Doyucho, Sakaimachi-dori Sanjo Sagaru, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City 🚃 10-minute walk from Karasuma-Oike Station on the Karasuma Line and Tozai Line of the Kyoto Municipal Subway Opening hours: 7:00-18:00 (last order 17:30) Inoda Coffee was originally a coffee wholesaler, and opened a coffee shop in 1947. The exterior of the Kyoto main store is in the style of a Kyoto townhouse, but once you enter the store, you'll find a retro feel with a Western atmosphere! I arrived about 20 minutes after it opened, but the first round of customers had already filled the store, and I was able to get a seat before 8:00! There were people there for breakfast, but many people just for coffee, so I was able to get in without having to wait. I think that until around 8:30, they only had customers on the first floor, and when I left, there were customers on the second floor as well, and there was no line outside the store! There were several types of morning menu, but they were all luxurious and voluminous! And of course the coffee was delicious. I was able to spend a luxurious time in the retro store♡ Near the register they sold coffee, cakes, and even Inoda Coffee goods!
