A hidden gem?! Kodaiji Temple, Kyoto

#Kyoto #Kodaiji Kodaiji is a temple located halfway between Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi's wife, Kita no Mandokoro. I personally think this place is a hidden gem, because it is often deserted, despite the fact that it has many sights to see, such as a vast garden, long corridors, and a wooden statue of Toyotomi Hideyoshi on its large grounds. It's true that the signs along the way are small and difficult to find, but I think it's a must-see for anyone who wants to stroll around and see temples in a particularly quiet place, even in Kyoto, which is bustling with tourists. *The room where Toyotomi Hideyoshi's wooden statue is currently under construction, so it cannot be viewed.
