Ubud in the previous itinerary is in the city center, not close to the beach, but close to other classic attractions in Bali. If you want to enjoy the sun and the beach, you have to come to Kuta. The dance tells stories from the Hindu epic Ramayana, with performers enacting roles to the accompaniment of a male chorus called "kecak".
