Exploring the Treasures of Kusatsu Onsen: A Perfect Blend of Nature and Tradition

Kusatsu Onsen is one of Japan's most famous hot springs, renowned for its unique water quality and stunning natural surroundings. The sulfur-rich waters here help relieve muscle fatigue, offering a sense of relaxation for both body and mind. During my journey to Kusatsu Onsen, one of my favorite activities was soaking in the hot springs. Especially at "Otaki-no-Yu," a public bathhouse featuring a spectacular waterfall view that immerses you in the experience. While enjoying the hot springs, you can also take in the surrounding natural beauty—truly unparalleled. Additionally, the streets of Kusatsu Onsen are filled with a traditional Japanese atmosphere. Strolling through the alleys and sampling local delicacies like "Yubatake Tofu" and "Onsen Manju" is an unforgettable experience.
