From Thailand to Malaysia on an international night train

#Spring0yentrip From Nakhon Pathom, I took a night train to Padang Besar (Malaysia), this time in second class. I was waiting at the back, but the car I was going to board was at the very front, so I made a mad dash 😂 I showed my ticket and got on safely~ Beds are set up in the same direction as the train is moving, and during the day they are folded up to become chairs. Just like regular trains, food vendors (not just old ladies, but also children) come by, so you don't have to worry about food. If you get sleepy after eating, ask the conductor to make your bed. I didn't give a tip, but he didn't do anything special. After a good night's sleep, I arrived at Hat Yai the next morning. Here, the train stops for a long time because they separate the trains. Of course, you can buy food on the platform. This is the last place you can buy food in Thailand. As soon as we left Hat Yai, we crossed the border and reached the last stop. After passing through immigration at Padang Besar station, we got on the KTM. The transfer time wasn't that long, but it was fine. This time I took the KTM Gold to Kuala Lumpur. I didn't know about it beforehand, but there are cheaper local trains too. The Chinese-made trains exceeded 140km/h even with the meter gauge, and I arrived at Kuala Lumpur Station comfortably. Kuala Lumpur Station has now been transferred to KL Sentral as the central station, but it is a very impressive station building!
