The masking Krakow 🇵🇱

#100waysoftravel Eros Bendato is located in Krakow's Main Square, just west of the Cloth Hall. It is a 10-minute walk from Wawel Castle 🏰. The “Eyeless head” is located in Krakow's city centre, and was created in 1999 under the name Eros Bendato, after the model for this bronze sculpture. It's full name is Eros Bendato and is by Polish artist Igor Mitroy. Popular photo stop and children's playground, and worth a few minutes stop. He survived the bombing of Dresden and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1963. By 1980 he was holding one-man exhibitions. It weighs 1,900 kilograms, is 370 cm long, 290 cm wide and 225 cm high. Its market value is estimated at half a million euro. #poland
