Koh Si Chang: A One-Day Trip

Explore Koh Si Chang with a one-day travel plan in Chonburi (or you can choose to stay overnight). It's very convenient for those without a private car. Transportation: We took a van from Mo Chit to Chonburi, getting off in front of Central Sriracha. From there, we took a motorcycle taxi to Koh Loi. The van fare to Chonburi is around 150-200 baht, and the motorcycle taxi costs no more than 40 baht. The ferry fare is very affordable, only 60 baht. Recommendations: Koh Si Chang has many attractions. It's highly recommended to rent a motorcycle for 150 baht to explore the island all day and stop for photos at various spots. While there are songthaews (shared taxis) available, they are less convenient. Renting a motorcycle is a better option. The weather is quite hot, so it's advisable to bring an umbrella, long-sleeved clothing, inhalers, balm, or a fan, and apply plenty of sunscreen. Food: The island has many restaurants, including chill-out spots, and plenty of hotels for accommodation. Highlights: There’s a beautiful tunnel cave and stunning sea views. You can also visit the Buddha’s footprint shrine to make a wish. Summary: Overall, the experience is great. However, Koh Larn is more beautiful, but everything on Koh Si Chang is cheaper compared to Koh Larn. One more thing to note: the last ferry departs around 6 PM, so plan your time wisely. 🥰
