One day, so much fun at Surin Islands, Phang Nga Province 🇹🇭

Today we are in Phang Nga. Let's change the atmosphere to visit another island group that is just as beautiful as the Similan Islands, which is Surin Islands. It is located in Kura Buri District, Phang Nga Province. It stands out for its beauty under the sea. It is a popular place for snorkeling to see coral reefs. 🥽 It has abundant nature, coral reefs and various fish. 🏊 It is also home to the #Moken village 🏝️ that has lived in the Andaman Sea for a long time. We can visit and experience their way of life, admire the charm of the wooden village and buy handicrafts from the villagers. On this trip, we had the opportunity to go with Seastar Happy Journey. We traveled by a large speedboat. It took about 2 hours from Thap Lamu Pier, Phang Nga Province to our first destination, Surin Island South, which is home to the #Moken village. The highlight is the wooden houses in the middle of the sea that are built in harmony with nature. We can walk in to visit and experience the Moken way of life. We can also take pictures at the most popular angle with the viewpoint on top of the village. Later, we took a small boat to Surin Island North, the center of tourism in Surin Islands, is the largest island among the 5 islands. It is home to the park ranger station, tourist service center, bungalows, restaurants, and restrooms. In addition, there are many tourist attractions around the island, such as beaches and bays where you can walk around or swim. Ao Chong Khad welcomes tourists upon arrival at Surin Islands. The beach in front of the park is white and has fine sand. There is also a very popular photo spot, "Hin Mae Hen". If you dare, you can climb up and take a photo on the top of the hen's wings (we only got her head, lol). Then we travel back to the big boat and go snorkeling. Surin Island has many interesting snorkeling spots because there are both shallow and deep-sea coral reefs around the island. There are many rare aquatic animals. If you are not a good swimmer or diver, don't worry because SeastarHappyJourney has staff to take care of you and provide sea tuk-tuk tours. We can hold onto foam sheets with the team. It's really great. As for food, don't worry. Sea Star has prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner for us in a 1-day trip. In the morning, there will be coffee, sandwiches, snacks. Lunch will be a buffet on the island with hot and cold drinks and fruits.
