Kobe Animal Kingdom - Family-friendly attractions A zoo and botanical garden located on an artificial island in the harbor. In the lush indoor park, you can get up close to cute animals like capybaras, and in the open outdoor area, you can experience activities such as riding camels and feeding penguins. The animals brought wonderful performances and dynamic bird shows. The exhibit area recreates the animals' habitats, allowing you to observe the animals' lively appearance up close. The all-weather environment allows you to have fun even on rainy days. Anyone who has been to Kobe Animal Kingdom (Kobe Dobutsu Kingdom) will be deeply impressed by it. Although there are no stars such as pandas, lions and tigers in the Kobe Zoo, what is special is that 80% of the animals can interact with tourists at close range. Have you ever been to a zoo where you can hand-feed seals? Have you ever seen ring-tailed lemurs, capybaras, and tortoises in a zoo actually let you touch them? There are also flamingos, sika deer, kangaroos, and many other animals that are taller than children. Kobe Animal Kingdom is full of fun, making it a great Kobe family attraction. 70% of the entire Kobe Zoo is indoors, and even in the outdoor area there are plenty of umbrellas available, so it is a great Kobe family attraction that can be enjoyed rainy or windy, or it can be used as a rainy day plan when traveling to Kobe. As soon as you enter, you will see the cute animal area of Kobe Zoo, which is filled with various small rabbits, hamsters, etc., which you can touch (but not catch). There is also feed for sale on site, which you can buy to feed them. The feed is sold in honest shops, you pay for it yourself, if you don't have enough change you can go to the counter to change it. There is also a cute animal area filled with cats and dogs. Watching them sleep is very healing. The water lily pond is the venue for bird shows in Kobe Animal Kingdom. The pond is full of lotus flowers and is quite beautiful. We encountered a macaw and owl show when we first arrived that day. The birds flew back and forth between the staff on both sides of the pond, and we were no longer just observing them from outside the cage. You can touch sika deer and flamingos with your hands. The animals in Kobe Animal Kingdom seem to be full of energy and each one is well taken care of. Their lives must be much happier than in other zoos. The Water Valley is home to the star creature of the Kobe Animal Kingdom: the Capybara! They look super cute with their silly and silly appearance. Sometimes they soak in the water, and sometimes they come out to interact with tourists. From a distance, their fur seems very soft, but in fact, when you really touch it, you will find that it is hard and rough. I can only say that Kobe Animal Kingdom is an amazing zoo, with lemurs, otters, and raccoons all almost within arm’s reach, of course! They may not necessarily want people to touch them, but the feeling is different without railings or glass in between. Overall, Kobe Animal Kingdom is a great family attraction in Kobe. If you are traveling to Osaka or Kobe in Kansai, you must remember to put it in your itinerary. It is especially recommended if you are traveling with children! #JapanTravel #Kobe #Kobe Animal Kingdom
