Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum Temple

“Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum” is a royal chedi containing 9 relics of the Lord Buddha. When you go to pay homage and worship, it is like meeting the Lord Buddha himself. It is a royal chedi that has been with Kamphaeng Phet. Originally, it was a chedi in the shape of a lotus bud (lotus flower) with three chedis on the same base. In 1871, Sae Po (Sae Pho or Phraya Tak) and a Karen timber merchant had faith in renovating the chedi of Wat Phra Borommathat Nakhon Chum by building it over the original base. Therefore, the chedi has the shape that we see today.
