Hasedera Temple: An Ancient Gem in Kamakura

📍 Entrance fee: 400 yen. Get off at Hasedera Station. We ended up here by chance today because we went to the wrong temple 🫨. We originally intended to visit another temple with the giant Buddha statue, but after buying the ticket, we realized it was a different temple. However, this one turned out to be very serene and shaded. I highly recommend bringing a stamp book because most places here have stamps you can collect as souvenirs. The temple is spacious and tranquil. Upon entering, it's suggested to wash your hands for good fortune. There are quite a lot of tourists, including many Japanese visitors. Inside, there's an ancient cave you can walk through. Although I couldn't read Japanese, it seems to showcase old artworks or possibly religious artifacts. If you have the chance to visit Kamakura, this temple is worth a stop.
