If you plan to depart from Kagoshima City like me, I recommend taking the ferry from Kamoike Port to Tarumizu Port for a wonderful day trip. The following is an itinerary suggestion shared, combined with transportation attractions, food and ticket price information, so that travelers can easily enjoy the charm of Kagoshima and Osumi Peninsula.  Strolling through the Kamoike Port Seal Park 🚢 Kamoike Port-Tarumizu Port Ferry Information The flight takes about 40 minutes and costs 550 yen for adults and 280 yen for children. Frequency: About 25 round trips per day, convenient and flexible arrangement. You can enjoy the magnificent scenery of Sakurajima Volcano on the way. The "Nankai Udon" sold on the ship is very popular.    🗺️ One-day tour itinerary suggestions Morning: Depart from Kagoshima City → Tarumizu Port Transportation: Take a bus from Kagoshima Chuo Station for about 30 minutes to Kamoike Port, and take a ferry to Tarumizu Port Suggested time: depart at 8:00 am and arrive at Tarumi Port at 9:00 am Morning: Sightseeing in Tarumizu city • Michi-no-Eki Tarumizu: Taste local specialties and buy souvenirs • Tarumizu Onsen: Relax your body and mind with a foot bath • Tarumizu City Museum: Learn about local history and culture   Noon: Local food experience • Recommended restaurants: Try Kagoshima Kurobuta pork dishes or fresh seafood • Specialties: Nanhai Udon, Kurobuta Shabu-Shabu Afternoon: Return to Kagoshima City → Sightseeing at Sakurajima • Transportation: You can take a local bus directly from Tarumizu to Sakurajima Port for 860 yen, or take a ferry from Tarumizu Port back to Kamoike Port, transfer to a bus to Kagoshima Port, and take the Sakurajima Ferry to Sakurajima.
