The Interesting Story of the Poet Immortal - Peach Blossom Pool

The Poet Immortal, Li Bai, had two great loves: drinking and traveling. Whenever there was good wine and beautiful scenery, Li Bai would come running. Li Bai loved to explore famous mountains throughout his life. An unknown resident of Jing County in Anhui, admiring his fame, wrote a letter to Li Bai inviting him to visit Jing County. The letter enthusiastically stated: 'Sir, do you enjoy traveling? This place has ten miles of peach blossoms. Sir, do you enjoy drinking? This place has thousands of inns.' Li Bai was moved by the 'travel' - ten miles of peach blossoms, and the 'drink' - thousands of inns, mentioned in the letter and happily went there... only to find out that 'Peach Blossoms' referred to the name of a pool, not actual peach blossoms, and 'Thousands of Inns' referred to the innkeeper's surname Wan, not actual thousands of inns. Haha 😄 Li Bai was tricked by the well-meaning resident, Wang Lun, but it also inspired another famous poem by Li Bai. We followed Li Bai's footsteps to Peach Blossom Pool, wandering in search of creative inspiration. Although the town lacks distinctive features, it has an abundance of charm! The town is serene and beautiful, with green mountains reflecting like jade. Many anglers, either on boats or fishing by the shore, add to the town's idyllic scenery.
