|Xingguo Temple Pagoda. The centerpiece of Xingguo Park is Xingguo Temple Pagoda. The temple was built during the Taiping Xingguo period of the Northern Song Dynasty. The temple was destroyed during the Yuan Dynasty, but the pagoda remains to this day. However, the pagoda has also experienced war. During the warlord conflicts of the Republic of China, the top two floors were cut off by artillery shells, resulting in the current pencil-like shape. In the Jiangyin Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall, there is a photo of the Japanese invasion, with the towering Xingguo Temple Pagoda in the background, which is particularly symbolic. The garden layout in Xingguo Park is winding and secluded. Many residents come here to exercise and sing.
