Travel Guide: Jeonju to Daejeon

A 2-day, 1-night travel guide from Jeonju to Daejeon for residents of Gyeonggi Province ❤️ On the first day, I visited Saekjangjeong Miso, the most famous café in Jeonju. Saekjangjeong Miso is a café that has been restored to its original form, much like preserving a cultural heritage, from a 100-year-old rice mill. It’s well-known for its attic, which is a popular photo spot! If you’re traveling to Jeonju, I highly recommend this unique café. By the way, their omija (schisandra) ade is delicious! 😄 For accommodation in Jeonju, I booked a place called Annoie. The price was about 180,000 KRW on weekends, offering great value for money. It’s a charming, standalone house with a traditional Korean hanok-style interior. If you’re looking for a cozy and aesthetic stay in Jeonju, I recommend Annoie. In the evening, I went out to enjoy the sunset, took a stroll along Gaekridan-gil in Jeonju, and visited Café Dal located there to try their old-fashioned red bean shaved ice. The next morning, I headed to Daejeon. In Daejeon, I visited Sung Sim Dang, the most famous bakery in the area, to buy some bread to take home. For lunch, I went to Udonya, a restaurant run by Sung Sim Dang, where I enjoyed affordable and delicious udon. When I got home, I tried the bread I bought from Sung Sim Dang, and every single one of them was absolutely delicious.
