Korea's #1. Jeonju Hanok Village

#Hanok Jeonju, a great destination for backpackers, is famous for its Hanok Village! Just get off at Jeonju Station and take a bus, making it a great train destination. Arriving at the Hanok Village, I was immediately struck by how many traditional houses I'd never seen before. The main street is a bit commercialized, but if you look closely, you'll find some still-inhabited houses, so it's polite to quietly explore! At the entrance to the Hanok Village, you'll find Gyeonggijeon Shrine, a cultural asset worth stopping by to see. There's also an old cathedral, perfect for taking photos. There are many restaurants within the Hanok Village, and I enjoyed Korean food like tteokgalbi (spicy ribs with short ribs) (the wait is long, though.) The village offers a variety of activities, making it a great destination for first-time travelers, as the itinerary is relatively straightforward. #Jeonju #JeonjuTravel #HotPlaces
