#summervacay So I finally made it to Nogodan in Jirisan, starting from the Gurye side, and wow, it was pure mountain magic. The trail up to the summit isn’t super brutal, which I totally appreciated. It’s well-maintained, gently sloped, and gives you time to enjoy all the wildflowers, foggy trees, and rolling ridges. Total fairytale vibes, especially if you catch it on a misty day.
When I got to the top, Nogodan hit me with that wide-open, above-the-clouds energy. The peak itself is quiet, peaceful, and feels like it’s floating, just this calm space where the wind hums and the world slows down for a sec. I sat there with my snack and just stared out over layers of mountains like I was in some zen painting.
Not a super intense hike, but spiritually 10/10. Whether you’re a hiking newbie or just need a mountain moment without the suffering, Nogodan’s the move. Peaceful, pretty, and oh-so-worth-it.
