A day trip to Otaru + delicious food, fun spots, and a strategy to avoid going back the same way! 1⃣️Minami Otaru Station to Denuki Koji You can walk from Minami Otaru Station to Denuki Koji. On the way, you can pass through the Otaru Shopping Street and visit the Music Box Museum🎵, Hello Kitty Cafe, Snoopy Cafe (lots of cute goods!), and the famous LeTao sweets shop (very popular milk ice cream🍦). There are many izakayas🏮 in Denuki Koji, where you can enjoy food and drinks in a commercial atmosphere. 2⃣️Otaru Canal It's like a fairy tale! (But there are a lot of people lol) Otaru is a great place to take photos while walking around freely, there are no specific shooting spots, and beautiful scenery spreads everywhere you look. It's perfect for a city walk🚶. 3⃣️Funamizaka Many people have come to Otaru after seeing this scene in "Love Letter"! It's the only road that goes straight from the mountains to the sea, and the view is amazing. Besides this classic photo spot, the surrounding area is also great for photography.
