Jakarta History Museum KOTA TUA

Jakarta History Museum, also known as Batavia Museum is located at Kota Tua. As a solo traveller, I choose to walk here after my visit at Glodok China Town, which took me around 15 minutes on foot. The entrance fee is cheap, at IDR5,000. You can see lots of collection from the Dutch colonisation such as ceramics, historical maps, paintings and archeological items. The building compound is spacious and you can ride a bicycle within the compound. At the exit, you can grab a beautiful and nicely crafted souvenir to bring back home. Wayang Museum and Fine Art/Ceramic Museum also located next to the Jakarta History Museum. #historymuseum #ilovejakarta
