The stunning scenery of Death Valley and Red Rock

Although they are in the same desert, they gave me completely different feelings. One was quiet and unrealistic, the other was vibrant and intense. 1. Death Valley – Magnificence in Silence I walked through the salt fields in Badwater Basin and looked down at the land from Zabriskie Point. It was a place where everything was quiet and only the sound of the wind could be heard. The faded landscape was even more intense, and it was a place that made me realize how small humans are. In particular, the Artist’s Palette is truly a work of art. I couldn’t take my eyes off the pastel-like pink, purple, and limestone rocks. 2. Red Rock Canyon – Living Red Land Red Rock Canyon, which is about a 30-minute drive from Las Vegas, is literally a feast of red cliffs. As I walked along the trail, I saw climbers and traces of wild animals everywhere, and it was full of life. The red rocks were really impressive as they reflected the sunlight and shone. In particular, the scenery from the Calico Hill Trail was like a scene from a movie. 3. Both places are enough to feel the grandeur of nature If you want to quietly feel nature, go to Death Valley, and if you want to enjoy colorful rocks and hiking, go to Red Rock Canyon. Both are easily accessible by car, and can be easily done as a day trip or overnight trip. One-line review Death Valley is a time of meditation, Red Rock Canyon is an activity and liveliness. It was a trip that presented the grandeur of nature in different ways. ⸻
