Inuyama Castle 🏯 📍65-2 Inuyama Kitafuruken, Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture 🕰9:00-17:00 ⚠️Closed 12/29-31 － － － － － － － － － － － － － Inuyama Castle, a national treasure, was built by Oda Nobunaga's uncle, Nobuyasu, in 1537 during the Muromachi period. The castle tower is said to be the oldest in Japan. History buffs will also know that the famous Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu all owned Inuyama Castle during their respective eras. It costs 550 yen to enter the castle, but the view from the castle tower is spectacular, so it's worth it 🙋🏻‍♀️ There are steep stairs to get to the castle tower, so be careful with small children ⚠️ It's a magnificent castle with karahafu, attached turrets, stone drop, etc. that make you think about the battles of the time!
