Take a look at nature at Seoraksan National Park.

Seoraksan National Park (설악산국립공원) is one of the most beautiful and famous national parks in South Korea. You can visit it all year round, and each season is beautiful in its own way. However, the most popular season for both foreign and Korean tourists to go hiking is during the autumn foliage season, because the valleys and trails are lined with red, orange, and yellow maple trees, almost lining the paths. Seoraksan National Park has many peaks. The highest peak is Daecheongbong, while the peak that tourists like to climb is Gwongeumseong Fortress, located in the east of Seoraksan National Park. Since there is a cable car that you can take to the top, and you have to walk another 1.5 kilometers to the top, it doesn't take long to conquer the top and see the beautiful scenery of Seoraksan above. However, if you have time and like hiking, I recommend climbing Ulsanbawi Rock. The length of the trail is about 3.8 kilometers. The first 2.8 kilometers is not very steep, and the last 1 kilometer to the top is quite a steep staircase, but the view from the top is very beautiful. From Sokcho, take the City Bus and get off at the entrance of Seoraksan National Park (about 20-25 minutes, buses every 10 minutes). Then walk for about 10 minutes.
