Huzhou Lu Yu Ancient Path

Most of the ancient roads in China that have been preserved are in mountainous environments. In the south, due to tea cultivation, many historical and cultural relics related to tea have been left behind. These relics are connected by ancient paths and exist in the form of linear cultural heritage, among which the most precious are those related to Lu Yu. This famous tea scholar of the Tang Dynasty was a tea enthusiast throughout his life and was skilled in the art of tea. He not only left many stories and footprints in Huzhou but also had an inseparable bond with the city. Like the Silk Road and the Ancient Tea Horse Road, the Lu Yu Ancient Path is a vast system composed of many routes. In a narrow sense, the Lu Yu Ancient Path refers to the linear relics related to Lu Yu's life and travels. In a broader sense, it refers to the linear cultural heritage left behind during the nurturing, birth, development, dissemination, and exchange of Lu Yu's tea culture, which has a profound cultural foundation.
