Qingshui Cliff | The most magnificent coastal wonder on the east coast of Taiwan, the ultimate shock of the intersection of mountains and sea

📍 Location Xiulin Township, Hualien County, located on the Suhua Highway (Provincial Highway 9) and the Renzhi Chongde Road section  ⸻ 🚗 Transportation • Driving by yourself: Starting from Hualien City, drive north along Provincial Highway 9, passing Xincheng and Chongde, and arrive in about 40 minutes.  • Public Transportation: Take the Taiwan Railway to Xincheng (Taroko) Station or Chongde Station. After exiting the station, you can take a taxi to Qingshui Cliff, which takes about 20 minutes. ⸻ 📝 Personal experience Qingshui Cliff is located in Xiulin Township, Hualien County, and is one of the most magnificent natural landscapes on the east coast of Taiwan. The cliff is 800 meters high and stands almost vertically on the Pacific coast, forming a spectacular view of the mountains and the sea. Driving along the Suhua Highway, there are steep mountain walls on the left and the azure blue ocean on the right, which is breathtaking.  There is a viewing platform near the north exit of Chongde Tunnel, where visitors can stop and enjoy the magnificent view of Qingshui Cliff. In addition, Huide Trail is also an excellent place to view the cliffs. The trail is about 750 meters long, and geological landscapes such as sea caves can be seen along the way.   Qingshui Cliff is not only a paradise for photography enthusiasts, but also a good place to get close to nature and relax.
