Hong Kong Store Exploration: Regal Place (Shatin)

It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy a good meal with old friends! A few nights earlier, I went to the "Regal Square" on the second floor of the Regal Riverside Hotel in Shatin for dinner. Although it was still a bit far from a "surprise", it was still delicious and left a lingering aftertaste! Since "Regal Square" is located inside the hotel, the space is very spacious and there is a long distance between the tables, making it particularly comfortable to sit! First came the [Fried and Baked Shrimp Balls with Scallop Juice and Mushrooms]. The mushrooms absorbed all the essence of the scallop juice, making it fragrant and tasty, and very tender. Shrimp balls are made by removing the shells of large shrimps, seasoning them, and then frying and baking them. The shrimp meat is chewy and full of fragrance, and it’s so delicious that you’ll want to eat more! [Healthy and Rich Traditional Soup] The bowl is not very big, it is made with water chestnuts, carrots and pork stomach. Although the portion is not large, it is sweet and delicious, and it is still a high-quality dish! [Tiger ball soup with bamboo fungus in clay pot] Served in clay pot, the rich aroma fills your nose when you open the lid! Bamboo fungus is especially refreshing and smooth when simmered in soup and then used in cooking. The banqiu is large and thick, made with fresh big tiger grouper, with a strong fish aroma and a smooth texture. Afterwards, I ordered a [Clay Pot Xishi Wolfberry Black Chicken Nourishing Fried Rice]. When I got on stage, I first added rice wine around the edge of the casserole lid. After baking for a while, the aroma of wine and rice filled the air! The rice grains are fried to be distinct and soft, and filled with black-bone chicken and wolfberries. It is delicious and leaves a long-lasting aftertaste! Finally, the restaurant also gave us two bowls of [red bean paste], the kind with sandy texture, so satisfying!
