Taking advantage of the Lunar New Year holiday, Piggy Bao made an appointment with his classmates to go hiking and having fun at Haw Tsui Chau🤩 We went to Sai Kung Pier and randomly chose the nearest boatman, thinking of entering from the bridge and leaving Xiamen Bay (Half Moon Bay). But my mother had already tried to travel around the island with her piggy bun, so she finally decided to go directly to Happy Valley Chau to play in the sand and hike the mountains 💨💨💨 It is very convenient to take a boat from Sai Kung Pier to Haw Tsui Chau, about 10-15 minutes. Get off the boat and go to the restroom, then set off to go hiking on the country park trails lu💨💨💨 Bridge Island is geographically unique and is located on the edge of a crater, so most of the rock on the island is formed by cooling the lava that flowed out during the volcanic eruption many years ago. As soon as we started, we saw a "pineapple bun 🍍 holding a pineapple stone" ceramic there, very cute, further on, there are more "volcano 🌋 holding a pineapple bun" ceramics, all related to the history of Bridge Island, really can hike while introducing history to children 🤭 The mountain roads are not difficult, but there is a lot of gravel and the trails are narrow, so children need to be extra careful when walking. We walked slowly, walked 40 minutes to easily reach the "#Black Hilltop⛰", the scenery is really beautiful, and saw cute ceramics and should be the only selfie artifact in the country park in Hong Kong, but too many people surrounding the selfie artifact, we did not take pictures 😅. Originally, if we continued to walk forward, we would go to Xiamen Bay, but since there was no boat to leave, we sat down next to it to rest and eat, and then went back along the road to Qiaozu Beach🏖️. Before hiking, we saw that the tide began to recede slowly. After going down the mountain, most of the "#Biao Tsui Chau Geological Trail", also known as "#Lian Island Sandbar" appeared😍 When the tide rises, Bridge Island and Bridge Head are two separate islands. When the tide recedes, a stone embankment is exposed in the middle to connect the two sides. This is the "#Lian Island Sandbar". The best walking time is when the sea water rises slightly, the shallow water slightly submerged the gravel road, from a distance it looks like walking in the center of the sea, we hiking back have seen children running very fast, like floating on the water 🤣🤣🤣 In fact, there is more than one "#Lian Island Sandbar" in Hong Kong, but this is the most convenient to reach on Bridge Island, so there are many tourists 😊 Be careful when walking the #Biao Tsui Chau Geological Trail. In addition to pineapple rocks, there are many large and small rocks, plus the tide has just receded a bit wet, making it easy to slip. Since the tide only receded about 95% or so, to the end, a part of it was still in the water, as the piggy bank wanted to go over, the mother held the piggy bank and rushed over when the waves receded away. Unfortunately, it was still not fast enough After crossing the opposite side, the piggy bun was very excited. After queuing up to take pictures, I wanted to walk up the mountain to see it, but I woke up and the boat left at 5:30 at the latest. So my mother was still in a hurry to take the piggy back to the beach🏖️ Back at the beach, a group of children were happily playing in the sand.
