Inspiration Lake - a kid-friendly nature walk

If you want a sprinkle of the magic dust of Disney without the steep ticket price and the crowds, come and have a walk around Inspiration Lake. While obviously the lake is developed as a part of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, the landscape is thoughtfully designed to build a genuine nature trail by the lake. Around the lake, which in summer maybe adorned by boats (ride tickets can be purchased from the 7-11 store at entrance), have an easy and peaceful walk amid all kinds of trees and plants. My girl picked up seeds and pods from different trees so we stopped frequently, our walk round the lake takes about an hour. Green flats and slopes are everywhere for picnickers, and there are even exercises facilities scattered around for the active ones, so this can be the place for a half day or even whole day out. Take public transport if you can - parking here is very limited and expensive. Walk from Disneyland MTR station is about 15 minutes - you can also take the R8 bus but check the timetable. #nature #family #walk #lake
