Sai Kung Sharp Island Day Tour

In the morning, I made an appointment with friends to take Sai Kung Minibus 1A from Exit C2 of Choi Hung MTR Station to Sai Kung Pier Terminal, have a hearty breakfast at a nearby restaurant, and then go to the pier to buy boat tickets for the island tour. The round-trip ticket is 50 yuan, and there is a boat departing every half an hour, and the ride takes 15 or 45 minutes. On the return trip, board the boat from Sharp Island. The last boat is at 5:30pm, and the journey takes 45 minutes. It passes through Ma Ying Chau, Pak Sha Island, Yim Tin Tsai, Kee Long Bay Fish Fillet, Lion Rock, Robot Rock, Bat Cave, Elephant Trunk Cave, Xiamen Bay, and then get off the boat at Sharp Island! As soon as you get off the boat, you will see the Sai Kung Sea Art Festival, which will be held until January 2023. The works include Ocean Talk (conch 🐚 sculpture), Moon Shadow under the Moonlight (multiple exhibits composed of the moon and multiple planets), Big Pineapple Bun Sculpture (more than ten different exquisite sculptures placed in different locations), and the most heartwarming thing is that there are volunteers next to different artworks to explain and introduce them to everyone and help take pictures and cards, so that everyone will not miss all the exhibits! On the other side of the island sandbar, you can walk along the long rocky beach to the lighthouse to play cards! Remember to return to the pier before 5:30 to catch the return boat, otherwise you will have to spend the night with friends who are camping on the beach ⛺️!
