The burnt rice and tofu dishes are very thoughtful

Although it was raining, it didn't stop me from meeting up with a friend for dinner. We went to a Japanese izakaya tonight, where my friend had a favorite tofu dish. Location: East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit P3/P2, on a building on the same street as the one where I Love Rice Noodles, very convenient. Environment: The entrance is thoughtfully decorated, with a fake bamboo forest and a wooden sign. Inside, you'll first see the sushi bar, then a large terrace with square-shaped tables, and a private room at the end. The overall design is simple, with few decorations. Most importantly, the seating is spacious and the environment is quiet, perfect for a get-together with a few close friends. Service: Specialties will be introduced, and there's a 10% service charge. Dinner: 🥢Salmon (two pieces)🍣 $28 The dish was just the right thickness and very fresh! 🥢Hamachi Sushi🍣 (two pieces) $48 The fish flavor is lighter than salmon, but it's thicker and fattier. These two sushi dishes are perfect as appetizers. 🥢Golden Dragon Roll Sushi🍣 $98 It's actually fried shrimp🍤sushi, and it must be a large shrimp😚, as the roll is half an arm's length. The rice is topped with salad dressing and plenty of crab roe. The taste and texture are both excellent👍🏻. 🥢Swordfish Belly Sashimi🍣 $88 The fish flavor is the strongest, and the fish is thick and plump, a bit like toro😚, with a very fatty texture. 🥢Fried Tofu🍢Two skewers $28 My friend loved it. Each skewer has three pieces. The tofu is fried, then lightly grilled, and drizzled with soy sauce. It's not greasy, with a subtle soy aroma. The skin is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The texture is first-rate😍. 🍖Beef Tongue Fillet $58 One skewer contains three pieces, thick and full of beef flavor, with a hint of fat in the middle. They're chewy and well-seasoned, so no sauce is needed! 😘 🍖Chicken with Scallions $76 There are two skewers, both cooked to a perfect char and flavorful harmony. The chicken remains tender and juicy, and the soy sauce drizzles over it, making it incredibly flavorful! 🥰 🥚Rice with Runny Egg🍙 $38 The combination of charred rice and a runny egg is a great combination! 🍳 This is my first time seeing this dish, and it's so unique and appealing. I personally think it's a must-try! 😍 🥢Japanese Tofu and Vegetable Hot Pot🥙 $68 Lastly, the healthy and filling vegetable hot pot features a base of cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, tofu, and carrot slices. The broth is a milky soy milk base, which is light but just the right amount of greasiness.
