The Monster Building, Its All In The Name! An Unmissable Hong Kong Landmark

The Monster Building is a Hong Kong Landmark that’s an incredible insight into the chronic housing issues the city has faced over its history. The four block mega building has been seen in films such as transformed and ghost in the shell, becoming synonymous with HK’s urban jungle. The buildings are huge and the pattern of the windows makes it seem even bigger, you have to zoom out to fit everything in. The whole area is amazing and very different to the more modern areas of central and kowloon, this area seems like its been stuck in times. There are some new buildings popping up near but it seems like this monster building will be an icon for decades to come! It’s a great place for photos but please remember this is a residential area, people live here. So show respect and keep noise levels down, and do not climb over equipment and signage. Also drones are banned so be warned!
